Life Always Finds A Way
Ever have those times when you feel like your life has turned to crap, and you’re just waiting for the final flush?
I always tell myself that when that happens, I just need to wait just a little longer and it will turn around again. It always does, but sometimes it sure seems like it takes forever.
About this time last year my daughter Jan, her husband, and my granddaughter Orchid moved back to Colorado. With her birthday the end of June, I was thinking about little Orchid quite a bit… and missing all of them. We’ve kind of been out of contact for a while for various reasons.
Somehow things always seem to work themselves out. On Father’s Day I opened my email to a Happy Father’s Day from my daughter
,we’ve spoken several times since, and you may even see her posting here from time to time. Funny how a little thing like hearing from a loved one can brighten your day and your outlook on life.
Life has a wonderful way of working itself out. Sometimes you just have to wait for it.

Children no matter how old always find themselves back to their parents.
I’m happy for you. I hope you get to see Orchid soon. Grandchildren are the spice of life! They can bring joy to your heart and put a smile on your face no matter what they do. I wish the rest of my grandchildren were here in Hawaii so I could see them more often. I really miss them.

None of us have the money to visit right now, but at least I can talk to them on the phone… and that certainly is alot better than nothing Ma

I agree. Hearing from loved ones and long lost friends is all the medication I ever need.

I live to hear from loved ones. I have lots of loved ones and most of them suck at communication. I guess that means I have lots to live for, huh? They stretch me out waiting. See my glass is more than half full.

If I had any friends or loved ones, I’d probably enjoy hearing from them.
